People and pointing cheat sheet โ€‹

A quick look at pronouns, topic, and plurality. Nothing here is new: each row links to the section that teaches it. Stage: B Beginner, I Intermediate, A Advanced.

Pointing back โ€‹

Which pointer to use โ€‹

You wantUseExampleEnglishStage
The same one again, by namerole letter + whole stem + -rzazozorAzozon (again)B

Role pointers โ€‹

Slot now, then wu, a part consonant (the old role letter), a pointer vowel, then the ending. A resume uses the whole stem. See role pointers.

Part consonantPart in the earlier eventWhere it satExampleStage
zthe doer/z/zwuzerB
dthe one it happens to/d/dwuderB
bthe extra party/b/zwuberB

othis sentence's own eventdwuzorthemselfB
uthe latest sentence that left the part unsaidzwuzurwhoever did itB

Endings: -r the same one, -l a new one (not with u), -m their part (not with o). A pointer never names its own slot. A topic change ends its reach.

Tags โ€‹

A tag is a label you choose (role letter, w, vowel a then o, e, last u, ending). It stays on its referent. Tags fill /z/, /d/, /b/ only.

JobExampleEnglishStage
Assign: tag -l after a phrasezodozel zwala dog, call it AI
A new referent with no namezwalsomeone AI
Recallzwar / dwar / bwarAI
Recall a tag assigned to a namezwan / dwan / bwanA (a named one)I

The topic โ€‹

Only an /x/ word at the start of a sentence sets the topic. Being first, being the subject, and as for do not.

JobExampleEnglishStage
Introduce a personxazozonnow, about AzozonI
Introduce a kindxodozelnow, about a dogI
Return to an earlier topicxazozorback to AzozonI
Return to the kind from beforexodozerback to the dogI
Clear the topicxevewom / xavedamnext / by the wayI
The topic itself, in any slotzalen / dalen / balenthe topicI

The topic pronoun is never a topic word or a resume. A dropped subject is never the topic: write zalen. A topic change resets role-pointer anchors and bare-number magnitude; whole-stem -r and tags stay.
